sample asset management programs

Asset management is where sample strategy begins. Where your samples live, how easily you can access and use them, and whether they’re stored in the right place all shape your costs, your timeline, and your science. Our Sample Asset Management programs are designed to meet your needs today and help define a path for what you need moving forward.

We’ve spent 40+ years managing research assets—with more than 100 million in storage today. Whether yours are in your own labs, scattered across CROs, or already in our care, one of our three programs can help support your sample management needs.

what these programs solve

Space R&D needs, tied up in storage.

Freezers fill, tracking is thin, and your scientists spend time on storage instead of science. Remote Asset Management puts our specialists and resources at your site to catalog, manage and, when you’re ready, move samples offsite.

Closed studies, scattered samples.

When a study ends, samples often stay behind across multiple labs and CROs. Proactive Asset Management finds them, coordinates the transfer, and consolidates them under one compliant roof.

A planned move, without a plan.

Insourcing or switching vendors can introduce cost and complexity you didn’t plan for. Strategic Asset Management shows the true financial and operational impact before you decide.

a connected strategy

Asset management can’t exist in isolation. Once your samples are cataloged, consolidated or moved, they flow into our storage & facilities and archiving services, so your strategy and your storage stay connected from the first assessment through long-term preservation.

Consider when: your samples are in your own labs or freezers, taking up space R&D needs.

Your R&D team’s time and space are among your most valuable assets. Too often, they’re tied up in storage that’s poorly tracked—or not tracked at all. Our specialists assess your inventory, storage practices, and operational needs, then catalog what you have for real-time visibility and better use of every asset. Samples are managed compliantly under GLP/GCP protocols—with retrieval and shipment available within 24 hours of request. When the time is right, we handle packaging and compliant transport to move them offsite to Resonant’s secure biorepository.

The result: space and time back to R&D, lower storage costs, and a clear path from onsite to offsite.

Consider when: a study has closed and your samples are scattered across multiple labs and CROs.

After a study closes, samples often remain scattered across labs and CROs—making them hard to track, manage, or consolidate. We identify closed studies and locate where your samples are stored. With your approval—often during a regular check-in like a QBR—we contact your labs and CROs, gather inventory lists, and review them with you. You choose what to transfer. We manage the logistics into our secure, long-term biorepository.

The result: one compliant home for your samples, less work for your team, and a complete, validated inventory for audits, planning, and future studies.

Sample preparation increasingly includes digital capture—including slide digitization, image processing and data preparation. As research becomes data-driven, the ability to prepare samples for digital analysis is as critical as physical processing.

Our digital capabilities are designed to handle the modern research workflow, converting physical specimens to digital formats and preparing data for analysis.
